About Me

My wife Katie has her roots in the Lowveld having grown up in the beautiful bushveld town of Tzaneen. As a young student she chose a career in accounting and whilst studying, we met and married in the White River Methodist Church a few years later.

We went onto raise four children and in between being a mom Katie found time to continue her post graduate studies on a part time basis and then went on to qualifying and obtaining her BComm.

In 2007 Katie had a personal life changing experience, which made her acutely aware of the privilege we have of sight and vision, which gives us the ability to see the beauty of the world of light and colour in which we live. This appreciation of vision made her reach for a camera and she has never looked back. Since then she has completed various formal photography courses and focused her energy on shoots involving people and weddings.
